Kirsty Kirby shortlisted as Diversity Star

The shortlist for the 2023 Develop: Star Awards has been announced,
with Lab42’s Studio Operations and Engagement Manager, Kirsty Kirby, being
named as a finalist for the Diversity Star Award.

The Develop: Star Awards is an annual event that recognises the
best talent in the games industry, with the Diversity Star Award celebrating
individuals who have shown a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity.
Specifically, the judges look for trailblazers who go above and beyond to
further the cause of diversity within the games industry.

“We’re all so proud to have
Kirsty shortlisted for such a prestigious award,” says Terry Goodwin, Lab42
Studio Director, “it’s a testament to how hard she works to make Lab42 such a
great place to be, and her dedication to having a positive impact on the games
industry as a whole. All of the finalists are doing amazing things, and we’re
thrilled to have Kirsty recognised among them!”

Earlier this year, Kirsty’s work was also recognised when she was
named a GI:Biz Game Changer. We’re all very proud to be working alongside Kirsty as she continues her commitment
to making the games industry a more inclusive space where everyone can enjoy a
flourishing career.

The winners of the Develop: Star awards will be
announced at a celebratory event on Wednesday 12th July 2023. Best
